Who doesn’t recognize one of the most iconic trademark - "I love NY"? This icon has been around for more than 35 years and till now, it still looks fresh. The trademarked logo appears in almost every souvenir shops in NYC. The creator, Milton Glaser, was born on June 26, 1929. He was graduated from the Cooper Union in 1951 and later the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
Throughout his career, he has done countless book jackets, album covers, brochures, posters, magazines and logos. His work has won numerous awards, both nationally and internationally. In 2010, Glaser became the first graphic designer to be awarded National Medal of Arts in which President Obama presented the award himself. You can see the full ceremony here.
