This is the latest of the typographic reflections published in 2010. This issue was focusing on conversation between Helmut Schmid, a typographer and Toshiro Mayuzumi, a composer. It is very interesting how that things are related. Helmut Schmid mentioned his former teacher, Emil Ruder. "He compared architecture, sculpture and music to typography. They have things in common. In music we have rest, in architecture we have space, in typography we have space, the unprinted space. They are all related." If you are interested in music it would be a nice reading with a pleasant typography. I have featured all the typographic reflections. Indeed, they are a nice series of booklets. You can still collect them and purchase at hsdesign.
