Today marks the 94th anniversary of the birth of Lillian Bassman. A year ago she looked at her page on Thinking Form happily at her living room. If you miss to see the page, please take a look here. It was the time that I was dreaming to met her. Finally, I got a chance to go to her apartment at upper east side. Stephen Lipuma, a former Bassman's assistant and Lizzie Himmel, Bassman's daughter greeted me warmly. I met her, after long and exhausted interviewed. She put her autograph to my book. Even though she looks tired, she eager to start working. Lizzie advised her to take a nap for a while. After she woke up she wanted straight working. I wouldn't believe that she was 93. I am totally amazed with her passion. Even though I met her once, I wont forget the moment. She is totally inspiring. The last image on the bottom was the last piece of her before she sleep forever. Thank you for Lizzie as well she gave me a snap photo for me.
