This issue was developed as a "themed" issue with environment context. The first section was written by architecture critic Martin Pawley to write about sign and graphics as architecture. The second issue was written by Barry Kitts on Timetable typography. To get more flexibility of the typography this issue was based on 24 column grids. The third was written by Neil Parker to write about example of plates. In this section some of the plates was printed with emboss.
For the first time 8vo magazine was printed in four colour process. I am still impress how does the print work so well. They spent about a half day to specify. This is the last job that Simon Johnson work with 8vo and also this is the last 8vo magazine that I have.
