He emigrated to USA in 1938 where he got several commissions including US government in Washington, designing posters and publicity material for US Department of Agriculture, Army Corps and Office of Strategic Services and an opportunity to work with Herbert Matter to design a Swiss Pavilion in New York World Fairs in 1939. Wonderful collages or illustrations is part of George Giusti work. He makes the work looks more lively. The combination of colors between the dark and light color makes a nice contrast and gives a sense of three dimensions. The unperfected cut of the paper make the work more human than machine and I feel that what we are missing today. Some of the work taken from the RIT graphic design archive and the Geigy's works are taken from the Corporate Diversity: Swiss Graphic Design and Advertising by Geigy 1940 - 1970. If you like the Geigy design in the 50s and 60s, Corporate Diversity: Swiss Graphic Design and Advertising by Geigy 1940 - 1970 is the book to have.
