










Anthon Beeke was born on March 11, 1940 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He didn't attend any school to learn graphic design instead he worked as an assistant for Ed Callahan in Germany, Jacques Richez in France and Jan Van Toorn in Netherlands. in 1963, he started up as an independent designer. He became a partner in one of the most successful design studios, Total Design in Amsterdam in 1976. He established his own studio, Studio Anthon Beeke in 1989.
Beeke's works including designing logos, books, magazines, posters, postage stamps, exhibit designs and many of them have won awards one way or another. His poster designs have become well known around the world. Beeke also produced two trend-forcasting magazine a color and horticulture together with Lidewij Edelkoort: View on Colour and Bloom.
