A Landmarks is a long project on the Aran Island, Ireland. A land full of stones in the Irish city of Galway ship next to the Atlantic ocean. Walter Angehrn put the yellow mark in three stones in 2003, and returned in 2008 and 2011. He photographed the same stones in three occasions where the yellow mark is fading away over the years.
Roland Stieger was commissioned to design the book where he captured brilliantly the concept of the art to the book. Starting with a very thin and fragile cover representing the yellow mark that would fade away over the years. He distinguished the three occasions Angehrn photographed by creating three different height proportions of the images. Each image is accompanied with a poem by Ernest Farres, a catalan poet as its discovered connection to Angehrn's works.
