He started his profession in 1951, when he work in publishing house Laterza in Bari. He worked with Achille Pier Giacomo and Livio Castiglioni designing the Italian Radio and TV pavilions in 1956 in Bari and 1967 in Milan. Castellano created graphics for Laterza and Vallecchi and he won a gold medal from the Italian Presidency and the Bodoni Parma Award.
I found that Castellano works very outstanding. He does different kinds of things and even photography. I might need to post twice to show all kinds of his work. It was a nice of him that he provides his work to me. I do really like his logos, it shows his simplicity and sophistication. Combination of his skill in typography and photography can be seen in his posters. The environmental and animation design shows another talent of him, he is not only capable doing 2d but 3D.
