Typotron no 7 features Adrian Frutriger under direction of Jost Hochuli. "Signs mean life" - that's the beginning of the introduction by Adrian Frutiger. If you are interested in signs and symbols, this booklet is definitely a good match for you. There was only one copy available in the Amazon marketplace, but since there were so many books that I wanted to have and due to budget constraint, I decided to add it on my wish list first and after sometime, I finally bought the booklet. A few days later, my partner, Ryotatsu, told me that he saw Typotron booklet in Amazon and someone just bought it. He was wondering what kind of person would have known and bought this gem.
This booklet is designed in three column grids and set in univers 7 and 8.5 pt. “ Many signs are constructed within an imaginary square, so a square grid seemed appropriate as the design basis for the pages of this book. Each page is divided into 3 x 5 = 15 squares” - Jost Hochuli.
