Helmut Schmid was invited by a professor from India, Kirti Trivedi, to giving a workshop in India. Once, Schmid was skeptical who would be interested in old fashion typography. There were 14 lucky students who got a chance to learn from the master directly. Each students were given list of words that they could randomly arrange with three different typefaces options ( universe, akzidenz grotesk, rotis ). At the end each student gives their opinion about the workshop and the decision why they picked certain typeface. We may not had no chance learn from the master but you could do the same typographic exercises.
