












Yusaku Kamekura was born on April 6th 1915 in Nigiigata Prefecture, Japan. He studied at a unique design school, New-Architecture and Industrial Arts, with focussing on the basic theory of composition. He started his career at the Nippon kobo, publishers of Nippon magazine. In 1960, he became a founder of Japan Design Center. He has own policy which company that he would work for . He mentioned "No matter how much money I am offered, I will not do work that I am not convinced is right." In 1962, he became a freelance designer and he did his most notable design program for the Olympic.
