







Eryk Lipinski was born on 12 of July 1908 in Cracow, Poland. In 1928, his caricature was published in magazine Pobudka. In 1933, he studied at the Warsaw Academy of Arts for 6 years. During his study, he confounded with Zbigniew Mitzer and became a chief editor a satirical newspaper Szpilki in 1935. After the war he continued working from1946-1953. He also contributed to many newspapers and magazine such as Przekrój, Przegląd Kulturalny, Trybuna Ludu,Panorama, Zwierciadło and Express Wieczorny. He also set up the cartoon museum in Warsaw and became the director of the museum in1978. In 1987, he founded Association of Polish Cartoonists (Stowarzyszenie Polskich Artystów Karykatury, SPAK).
