EL lissitzky was born on November 23, 1890 in Smolensk Oblast, Former Russia Empire. He had been always interest and talent in art. in 1909, he was rejected to an art academy in Saint Petersburg because the limitation number of Jewish students to attend Russian School and universities. In 1909, he went to Germany to study architectural engineering at a Technische Hochsschule in Darmstadt, Germany. in 1919, he became a professor at the art school in Vitebsk, where he met Marc Chagall and Kasimir Malevic. In 1925 he returned to Moscow. In 1928, he designed soviet pavilion of the international press exhibition of the Deutscher werkbund. At the end of his career he designed wonderful magazine, URSS en construction, where he used as a tool of propaganda and he rest in peace on December 30. 1941, In Moscow.
