














Italo Lupi was born on March 28, 1934 in Cagliari, Italy. He studied architecture in Milan but worked mostly as a graphic designer. He was the Art Director of Abitare, Domus and La Rinascente and the Art Consultant of the Triennale di Milano and IBM Italia. He designed Miu Miu, Fiorucci and Triennale di Milano logos and the graphic identity for many important exhibitions, collaborating with other great italian designers, like Achille and Piergiacomo Castiglioni.
He is Honorary Royal Designer in London (2002) and member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (1981). He is also in the Hall of Fame of Art Directors Club Italia (2007) and he won two Compasso d’Oro (1998, 2006). He had solo exhibitions in New York, Tokyo, Osaka, Grenoble and Echirolles.
