








Robert Brownjohn was born on August 8, 1925 in Newark, New Jersey. In 1944, he earned a place at the Institute of Design in Chicago. He was studied under the Laszlo Moholy-Nagy. In 1950, he moved to New York and worked as a freelance. In 1957, he formed Brownjohn, Chermayeff & Geismar (BCG). They have produced book covers, cd covers, magazines, booklets, and others. The largest client was the Pepsi-cola Company. At the end 1959, due to Brownjohn addiction to drug and irresponsible toward clients, BBG was closed down. He moved to England in 1960. He started worked at advertising agency J.Walter thompson and left 2 years later to McCan Erikson. In 1963, he designed the title sequence for James Bond film, From Russia with love. His last worked was a poster for New York Peace Campaign in 1969 and he was end his life at the age of 44 due of heart attack.
